Course Resources

Ethnographic research and reflection questions to accompany selected segments of Sample Space. Course resources include descriptions of the accompanying audio, and a variety of questions categorized by level of analysis and effort required, such that an assignment can be built by selecting a few from each category. 

Asian American Studies 

This Asian American Studies course resource focuses on the themes of ‘the next generation’, ‘coming out of the shadows’, and ‘finding a place to belong’, while referencing topics including American imperialism, immigration policy, and diaspora culture. 
 

Asian American/ Gender Studies

This course resource is designed for intersectional coursework focused on race and gender, specifically Asian American women and their sexuality, exploring the political power of sexuality and the socialization of women and their sexuality in the cultural and societal context of Asian America.
